BTLA BROKER / 07 / FOR BUSINESSES
Employee group insurance.
Compare more than a list of benefits.
We help employers organise group life insurance and their team's protection needs. We explain the differences between options and the enrolment and administration rules.
For employers who want to organise their team's protection and benefits.
01 / YOUR SITUATION
For employers and HR teams.
An employee programme should be understandable to its users and straightforward to administer. We start with the team’s needs and current terms.
- You are introducing your first programme or renewing the current one.
- You want to compare options for employees and their families.
- You are organising joining arrangements and internal communication.
02 / SCOPE OF OUR WORK
Cover, availability and organisation.
The scope and availability of cover depend on the company's situation and the terms of individual offers. We also discuss limitations together.
What do we check in these areas?
Group life insurance
We compare benefit cover and amounts, explaining differences in event definitions. A list of benefit names is a starting point, not a complete comparison.
Additional team needs
We discuss personal accident and medical care needs if they form part of the planned programme. We distinguish between the products' cover and the conditions for using them.
Implementation and ongoing service
We organise joining rules, deadlines and change notifications. We identify information that should be clearly communicated to employees and programme administrators.
03 / THE OUTCOME OF WORKING TOGETHER
A comparison useful in day-to-day work.
Discuss an employee programme ↗- A comparison of options using common criteria.
- Discussing definitions, restrictions and waiting periods.
- A list of joining and programme change rules.
- Agreement on the next implementation and communication steps.
04 / HOW WE START
From a conversation to an informed decision.
What should you prepare first?
To start, prepare your team size, a general workforce profile and the current programme's terms. Do not attach individual employees' health data to the first message.
What do we check in these areas?
We understand your needs
We discuss the current programme and the employer's expectations.
We compare options
We compare benefits, joining rules and limitations.
We plan implementation
We agree the documents, communication and ongoing service arrangements.
05 / BEFORE WE TALK
Worth knowing.
Will the same option suit everyone?
Your team's needs may differ. It is worth comparing the available options and how they are selected, taking account of the rules of the particular programme.
Does a new employee have full cover immediately?
The start of cover and any waiting periods are determined by the contract terms. These rules should be clearly established before joining the programme.
Can employees' family members be included?
It depends on the available offer and its rules. When comparing, we check who can join, what options they have and whether additional restrictions apply.
Are a medical package and life insurance the same thing?
They serve different purposes and have different terms. If your business is considering both, it is worth analysing them separately and establishing how they complement the employee benefits programme.
YOUR TEAM TRAVELLING
Sending employees abroad?
Business travel and work trips should be considered within the company’s insurance programme. We will check destinations, activities and arrangements for supporting the team.
