BTLA Broker / Employees and travel

Group life insurance.
Compare the benefits that matter to your team.

An employee programme should be understandable both when enrolling and when claiming benefits. We help compare group life insurance options against team needs and administration rules.

For employers considering group life cover for their employees.

01 / Needs analysis

What will we establish before comparing quotes?

Availability, premium, limits, excesses and exclusions depend on risk assessment and the specific contract terms. Sending an enquiry does not activate cover.

What do we check in these areas?

Group members

We start with the number of employees and the general staffing structure. At the initial stage, we do not need names, PESEL numbers or health information.

Benefits and terms

We compare covered events, sums insured, waiting periods and exclusions. A benefits list alone does not reveal all the differences between proposals.

Enrolment and administration

We discuss premium funding, notification deadlines, employment changes and employee communications. We also establish rules for family members if they are to join the programme.

02 / Preparing for the discussion

You do not need to have all the documents straight away.

Provide basic information in the questionnaire. If you are unsure about something, describe it briefly or choose a conversation. Once we understand your needs, we will establish what data is required for further analysis.

What should you prepare?

The size of the group, funding arrangements, employees' anonymous expectations and the documents for the current programme.

We will agree documents and details individually. The form starts contact; do not use it to send sensitive data or third-party documents.

03 / An important distinction

Before you choose cover.

Do all employees have to choose the same option?

This depends on the proposal’s structure and joining rules. We check available options and group conditions rather than promise unrestricted choice.

What determines the price?

It depends on the subject matter and scale of the risk, the cover, limits, claims history and the terms offered by the insurer. First, we need information about your situation. We do not provide a misleading quote based on the product name alone.

SPECIFICS / BEFORE A DECISION

Before you request a quote.

What affects the cost?

  • Group size and composition
  • Benefit option and sums insured
  • Joining and funding arrangements

These are starting points for a conversation. A meaningful price comparison requires a defined scope and terms of cover.

What will help our first conversation?

  • Summary information about the group
  • Expected benefits
  • Existing programme, if any

Don't have everything? Start with a brief description. We will establish what can be added later.

Is health information needed in the first questionnaire?

No. At this stage, provide aggregate information about your business needs. Any further requirements will be explained separately through an appropriate channel.

What happens after you report a claim?

We will contact you about your needs, clarify the information and agree the scope of further analysis. An enquiry alone does not put cover in place.

I'd rather start with a conversation
