We show the authorisation to the client when first carrying out a brokerage activity and on request. A person carrying out brokerage activities on behalf of the company shows a document authorising them to act for it at the first such activity.
Whose behalf we act on
We perform brokerage activities in the client's name or on their behalf. We help identify insurance needs, analyse cover and offer terms, and prepare a solution suited to the client's circumstances.
Our brokerage advice is based on a fair analysis of a sufficient number of products available on the market to develop a recommendation, and we explain the basis for it. We agree the detailed scope of work with the client. If we act on their behalf, our activities are determined by the authority granted.
Insurance cover is provided by the insurer named in the policy. The documents for the particular contract set out the cover, limits, exclusions and obligations of the parties.
How we are paid
Our remuneration is a commission paid by the insurer and included in the insurance premium.
We provide information on the nature of remuneration related to the proposed contract before it is concluded. If the client is to pay a fee, we state its amount or, where it cannot be established in advance, the calculation method.
Equity links with insurers
BTLA BROKER LEADER sp. z o.o. does not hold shares or interests in an insurer carrying at least 10% of the voting rights at its general meeting. No insurer holds shares or interests in BTLA BROKER LEADER sp. z o.o. carrying at least 10% of the voting rights at its shareholders' meeting.

Depending on the client and case, available routes include proceedings before the Financial Ombudsman, the Arbitration Court at the KNF with both parties’ consent, and pursuing claims in the ordinary courts.
