What will we establish before comparing quotes?
Availability, premium, limits, excesses and exclusions depend on risk assessment and the specific contract terms. Sending an enquiry does not activate cover.
What do we check in these areas?
Product and recipient
An industrial component, food and a consumer product require different descriptions. How the product is used, its instructions and the business's role as manufacturer, importer or distributor all matter.
Markets and contracts
We check the geographical scope, law applicable to claims and customers’ requirements. Exports to the USA or Canada require separate discussion of the terms.
Types of loss
We compare cover for personal injury, property damage and any financial loss. We distinguish damage suffered by a customer from the cost of replacing your own defective product.

You do not need to have all the documents straight away.
Provide basic information in the questionnaire. If you are unsure about something, describe it briefly or choose a conversation. Once we understand your needs, we will establish what data is required for further analysis.
What should you prepare?
A description of the products, export destinations, examples of customers' insurance requirements and an aggregated claims history.
We will agree documents and details individually. The form starts contact; do not use it to send sensitive data or third-party documents.

Before you choose cover.
Does product liability insurance cover a batch recall?+
Do not assume this. Product recall costs require a separate review of recall cover. Having product liability insurance in the policy does not establish that these costs are covered.
What determines the price?+
It depends on the subject matter and scale of the risk, the cover, limits, claims history and the terms offered by the insurer. First, we need information about your situation. We do not provide a misleading quote based on the product name alone.
