BTLA BROKER / FOR FINANCE TEAMS / ASSETS AND LIQUIDITY
Insurance from a finance perspective
The largest number in a policy cannot answer every financial question after a loss. Let’s connect asset values, interruption costs and the risk of non-payment. Consultations are available in Polish or English.
Tell us your financial priority ↓Book value or reinstatement cost?
A new building, more expensive machine or larger stock holding may leave old sums out of step with your assets. We establish the policy’s valuation basis and compare like-for-like asset scopes. Book value does not necessarily equal the cost of reinstatement.
Repair costs are only part of downtime
After a loss, wages, rent and lease payments may continue while production takes time to recover. We review business interruption cover and, for machinery breakdown, potential MLoP cover. The trigger, calculation basis, indemnity period and exclusions matter.
Selling on credit also creates risk
Higher sales do not always mean faster cash collection. For receivables, we review the buyer portfolio, payment terms, concentration and sales territories. We then compare potential buyer limits, reporting duties and the share of a loss retained by the company.
BTLA BROKER / LET’S TALK
Let’s discuss the numbers that matter.
Tell us whether your starting point is asset values, possible downtime or receivables. Include the main business change and your renewal date, if known.
- When were building, machinery and stock values last updated?
- How long would restoring a key process realistically take, and which costs would continue?
- Is the main concern replacing assets, downtime or unpaid invoices?
