Medical equipment insurance.
Protect equipment critical to your facility.

Diagnostic and treatment equipment requires consideration of value, servicing and continuity at the healthcare facility. We compare needs concerning equipment damage and the costs of returning it to use.

For facilities using diagnostic and treatment equipment.

01 / Needs analysis

What will we establish before comparing quotes?

Availability, premium, limits, excesses and exclusions depend on risk assessment and the specific contract terms. Sending an enquiry does not activate cover.

What do we check in these areas?

Type of equipment

We ask about use, year of manufacture, manufacturer and operating conditions. Whether the facility owns, rents or leases the equipment also matters.

Servicing and equipment components

We analyse terms relating to parts, consumables and maintenance contracts. A policy should not be treated as a substitute for regular maintenance.

Replacement and downtime

We discuss repair time, the availability of replacement equipment and how revenue depends on the apparatus. The financial consequences of an interruption require a separate review of cover.

02 / Preparing for the discussion

You do not need to have all the documents straight away.

Provide basic information in the questionnaire. If you are unsure about something, describe it briefly or choose a conversation. Once we understand your needs, we will establish what data is required for further analysis.

What should you prepare?

Equipment list, values, financing, service agreements and replacement arrangements. No patient records.

We will agree documents and details individually. The form starts contact; do not use it to send sensitive data or third-party documents.

03 / An important distinction

Before you choose cover.

Will equipment insurance cover a patient's claim?

Damage to equipment and liability for medical services are different areas. For patient claims, we analyse the facility's and relevant individuals' liability cover.

What determines the price?

It depends on the subject matter and scale of the risk, the cover, limits, claims history and the terms offered by the insurer. First, we need information about your situation. We do not provide a misleading quote based on the product name alone.

SPECIFICS / BEFORE A DECISION

Before you request a quote.

What affects the cost?

  • Type, value and age of equipment
  • Operating and servicing conditions
  • Cover and the time needed to restore operations

These are starting points for a conversation. A meaningful price comparison requires a defined scope and terms of cover.

What will help our first conversation?

  • List of equipment and values
  • Service and warranty terms
  • Information on breakdowns and replacement equipment

Don't have everything? Start with a brief description. We will establish what can be added later.

Is the manufacturer’s warranty enough?

A warranty and insurance have different terms. We will compare their scope to establish which events and costs need further attention.

What happens after you report a claim?

We will contact you about your needs, clarify the information and agree the scope of further analysis. An enquiry alone does not put cover in place.

I'd rather start with a conversation
