Electronic equipment insurance — EEI.
Check equipment cover for everyday work.

Servers, specialist equipment and portable devices operate in different conditions. We help establish electronic equipment cover, taking account of where it is used and the cost of replacement.

For businesses using computers, servers and electronic equipment.

01 / Needs analysis

What will we establish before comparing quotes?

Availability, premium, limits, excesses and exclusions depend on risk assessment and the specific contract terms. Sending an enquiry does not activate cover.

What do we check in these areas?

Equipment and locations

We distinguish fixed equipment, mobile devices and equipment assigned to employees. We also ask about use away from the premises and abroad.

Value and events

We check the valuation basis and terms for damage, theft and transport. Cover also depends on security and how equipment is left unattended.

Data and additional expenses

We separately analyse potential costs of restoring data and working with replacement equipment. Whether these are included, and the applicable limits, must be checked in the proposal.

02 / Preparing for the discussion

You do not need to have all the documents straight away.

Provide basic information in the questionnaire. If you are unsure about something, describe it briefly or choose a conversation. Once we understand your needs, we will establish what data is required for further analysis.

What should you prepare?

Equipment list, replacement values, locations, mobile-use rules and current policy.

We will agree documents and details individually. The form starts contact; do not use it to send sensitive data or third-party documents.

03 / An important distinction

Before you choose cover.

Does EEI replace cyber insurance?

No. Physical damage to equipment and an incident affecting systems or data are different situations. We compare the cover so that cyber protection does not rely solely on an equipment policy.

What determines the price?

It depends on the subject matter and scale of the risk, the cover, limits, claims history and the terms offered by the insurer. First, we need information about your situation. We do not provide a misleading quote based on the product name alone.

SPECIFICS / BEFORE A DECISION

Before you request a quote.

What affects the cost?

  • Equipment type, value and mobility
  • Locations and conditions of use
  • Scope of cover and excesses

These are starting points for a conversation. A meaningful price comparison requires a defined scope and terms of cover.

What will help our first conversation?

  • Equipment list and values
  • Details of portable equipment
  • Current policy and security arrangements

Don't have everything? Start with a brief description. We will establish what can be added later.

Does a laptop used outside the office need separate checking?

Yes, it is worth specifying where and how it is used. Geographical cover, transport and use away from a fixed location should be checked in the offer.

What happens after you report a claim?

We will contact you about your needs, clarify the information and agree the scope of further analysis. An enquiry alone does not put cover in place.

I'd rather start with a conversation
